The Department of Asian & Asian American Studies (AAAS) at Stony Brook University has been offering study abroad programs in Asian countries including China, India, Japan, and Korea. These programs allow students to explore the languages, cultures and histories of these regions. However, financial barriers prevent many underprivileged students from participating.
This scholarship provides funding for tuition, travel and living expenses, making study abroad possible for students who would otherwise not have the opportunity. Through these programs, students gain language proficiency, cross-cultural understanding and valuable academic and professional experiences.
Your support helps open doors for students who might otherwise be unable to study in Asia. Every donation reduces financial obstacles and makes studying abroad more accessible.
