The faculty and students of BCB perform research into the molecular mechanisms of fundamental biochemical, cellular and developmental processes. The BCB endowment was established to buffer faculty and students from the unpredictable swings of federal and state support for research. Endowment funds will ensure that research and training can remain at the leading edge of science when public funding is tight and that they can progress even faster during better times.
