Gifts to Student Emergency Fund contribute to...
UPDATE: Due to overwhelming response, we've increased our goal to 50 donors! Let's keep the momentum going!!
The Student Emergency Fund was started by students to assist their peers who encounter short-term financial hardships that may jeopardize their ability to successfully continue their education. Some examples include:
- Temporary housing and/or food during break when going home is not an option.
- Emergency medical expenses not covered by insurance or other means.
- Replacement of essential personal belongings.
- Transportation as a result of unexpected emergency
This year, Student Trustee, Kushal Bhandari, is tackling the issue of Break Housing Anxiety. Your gift to the Student Emergency Fund helps expand the resources that are available to provide support for students who are unable to get home during breaks from school.
