Maroon vs. White Athletics Challenge
Springfield College varsity teams are joining in a friendly competition on Giving Day, where the prizes are extra dollars in each team account.
- Thanks to a generous $5,050 challenge gift from Buzzy '74 and Barb '75 Ernst, each team on either the Maroon or White side that gets to 250 combined donors first, will have $250 additional dollars added to their team accounts.
- Once all teams reach a combined total of 1,000 donors, an additional $15,500 will be released to Friends of Springfield College Athletics and each team will have $500 added to their team accounts. For the Maroon vs. White challenge winners, that's a total of $750 added! Thanks to Margaret Haney Emond ‘70 in memory of Lionel A. Emond ‘64, G’70, Dick Warner '67 and Dick '62 and Ruth Sproul for sponsoring this part of the challenge!
Gifts to Friends of Springfield College Athletics will count for
BOTH the Maroon Team and the White Team.
