Gifts to Pirate Bikes contribute to...
In honor of her brother, Walter P. "Wally" Meyer '86, Heidi Meyer Curry, provided the first funds for the bikes “to keep his memory and spirit alive.” Southwestern was the first university in Texas to offer a free bicycle program for campus use and are the only one left that does not require an ID or credit card to use.
Please consider making a gift to Pirate Bikes today for the maintenance of our current fleet and purchase of new bikes! The average cost of one new Pirate Bike is $450 with replacement parts ranging from $10 for a new heavy-duty tire tube to $50 for a new seat. Gifts of all sizes help continue this tradition for current and future Southwestern students.
