Gifts to Career Closet contribute to...
The Center for Career and Professional Development launched the Career Closet this past fall. The Career Closet provides students with FREE professional clothing for interviews, career fairs, and other professional networking events.
This program aims to relieve the stress of affording professional clothing and allow students to focus on creating positive first impressions when networking. Any current Southwestern student can visit the Career Closet to shop for suits, dresses, ties, belts, shoes, and other professional clothing items.
Here’s how your gift can make a difference:
$10 provides a pair of socks
$40 covers a professional shirt
$60 supplies dress pants or a skirt
$100 contributes toward a blazer or jacket
$250 funds a full 3-piece interview suit
These opportunities and more are how The Center for Career and Professional Development is ranked #2 in Career Services in the US and #1 in Texas by The Princeton Review. Board of Visitor members Jeanine and Nick Piskurich P '23 will generously match $1 per $1 donated up to $5,000 to the Career Closet. Please consider making your gift today to double your impact while helping students dress for success!
