Gifts to Arts Administration and Cultural Advocacy Internship Opportunity contribute to...
Studying the arts and humanities at Southern gives you the unique advantage of the cultural richness of New Haven, a city with some of the nation’s leading organizations in the visual and performing arts, cultural heritage and preservation, and the public humanities.
The new minor in Arts Administration and Cultural Advocacy offers an introduction to that professional world by helping you develop skills for a more diverse range of careers in areas such as:
- Teatre, performing arts, museum, and library management
- Archival and curatorial work
- Non-profit cultural organization administration
- Grant-writing and development
- Arts education
- And more ...
The Arts Administration Internship Fund will help lay a foundation so that all Southern students – no matter their background, financial situation, or professional and creative interests – can take advantage of the unique career opportunities in the arts, public humanities, and cultural engagement in the New Haven area.
Every $15 donation you make goes straight to funding an hour of paid internship experience in the arts, an experience that so many of our students might otherwise forego in favor of part-time work or other commitments to support their college education.
