THE HEART OF SMITH
POWER NEILSON LIBRARY: WHERE TEACHING, LEARNING AND COMMUNITY UNITE.
More than just a building, Neilson Library is where ideas take flight. This is why it is so critical that Neilson keep up with the needs and expectations of students and scholars today and in the future. We are in the midst of an extensive library renovation project led by acclaimed designer Maya Lin that will embody Smith’s bold vision for the 21st century, creating new opportunities for intellectual exploration, innovation and discovery.
We invite you to be a part of this exciting project by donating during the month of June. Gifts will stretch far beyond new desks and bookshelves. They’ll create a space that informs, inspires and unites us all.
LET'S POWER THE NEW NEILSON TOGETHER.
Please give as generously as you can today!

Being a Smithie means experiencing a thriving and diverse campus life. Donations to Essential Smith fund the financial aid of countless international, non-traditional, and financially disadvantaged students who make the Smith experience so meaningful. They also support the facilities and student organizations that make our community special. With your support, Smith's remarkable student body can continue to flourish on campus and beyond.Ada Comstock Scholarship

With your support, these remarkable students, ranging in age from their 20s to their 60s, can have the opportunity to fulfill their potential as part of the Smith community.Great news!
Thanks to the support of alumnae, parents, and friends of Smith College like you, we have officially met the $120,000 challenge from Susan Termohlen '72, Joan Butler Ford '55, Francie Pepper '62 and an anonymous member of the class of 1968. More than 2,800 contributions were made to Smith during the month of June.
Because of the high volume of activity on 6/30, and the 4th of July holiday, we are continuing to finish data entry of offline gifts. We will update this site (GiveCampus: https://www.givecampus.com/sch...) with the final dollar and gift totals in the next few days.
Thank you to everyone who supported The Smith Fund in June, and throughout our 2016-2017 fiscal year.

In fact, 1,837 Smith alumnae, students, parents and friends have already donated more than $750,000 this month! This goes a long way toward getting The Smith Fund to its fiscal year end goal of $13 million and toward providing the facilities, organizations, services and financial aid that Smith students rely on. Thank YOU for your support of our Heart of Smith efforts!
To help us reach our year end goal, another generous group of alumnae have pooled their money to offer one last challenge gift. Joan Butler Ford '55, Francie Pepper '62, Susan Termohlen '72 and an anonymous member of the class of 1968 will give a combined $120,000 to Smith if we can meet our June 30 goal of 2,800 donors this month!
