Together, we did something remarkable. Alumni participation reached almost 300 donors, surpassing our goal of 225 and earning the $50,000 challenge gift for financial aid! Alumni support also helped the Sidwell Friends community as a whole exceed its goal, raising more than $850,000 in support of financial aid!

This is a moment for alumni to come together in support of the learning community that defines Sidwell Friends and continues to shape lives beyond graduation.
Financial aid helps ensure that Sidwell Friends classrooms bring together students with different experiences and perspectives. Nearly one-quarter of Sidwell Friends students receive financial assistance, making it possible for students from a wide range of circumstances to learn from one another and participate fully in School life.
The Friends Alumni Network Advisory Board, the Together We Shine Culminating Phase Leadership Committee, and the Founder's Day for Scholars Leadership Committee are leading the way with a challenge gift of $50,000, to be unlocked when 225 alumni participate by midnight April 16. Giving today will magnify the impact of your support, and your participation at any level will make a difference!
