What is Scripps College's Day of Giving?
Day of Giving marks an exciting time in the life of the College, demonstrating the power of collective giving from the generous Scripps community. We encourage you to help champion the College's legacy of providing an outstanding liberal arts education to ambitious, compassionate students.
This year, we invite you to participate in our Day of Giving 2024 Challenge in support of the Scripps Access Initiative! Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor, gifts made to the Scripps Access Initiative will be matched 1:1 up to $15,000. The Scripps Access Initiative aims to raise funds to enroll more Pell-eligible and students with undocumented status. The diversity of human experience not only adds value to the Scripps College experience, but also enriches classroom conversations and the social fabric of our community. Your gift will help move Scripps forward.
Day of Giving is about participation. Help us meet our goal of 400 donors this year! Gifts of any amount show your Scripps pride and give the next generation of young leaders the resources they need to succeed.
Advocacy is powerful. Prefer to support in a way other than giving? Share the campaign on social media and let others know why Scripps is meaningful to you.
Your Gifts Impact Every Scripps Student
For those looking to make the greatest impact, a gift to The Scripps Fund/Parent Fund supports every student on campus. The Scripps Fund/Parent Fund forms the backbone of scholarships, internship grants, mental health and wellness programs, racial justice and equity initiatives, campus enhancements, and academic programs. Thank you for your support!
Because of YOU we surpassed our goal of 400 donors. Your generosity moves Scripps forward in meaningful ways that not only makes a difference today, but for future generations of students. Thank you!

We’re seeing incredible support from the Scripps community. Thank you! Less than 50 donors to go to meet our goal of 400 donors.

Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor, gifts to the Scripps Access Initiative made now through March 20 will be matched 1:1.

Day of Giving is Scripps’ largest 24-hour annual giving event, bringing together the community for the collective good. This year’s event launches on Wednesday, March 20, and the generosity of our community has already been felt as students, staff, faculty, alums, families, and friends of the College are participating in our early giving challenge: The Scripps Access Initiative!
