The Intercultural Center has always been home to some of the most dynamic superheroes on campus. Arthor Curley may have been the most powerful and influential of them all!
Arthor attended Saint Mary’s from 2004-2008 and was involved with many different student organizations and departments (Admissions, Associated Students, BSU, CISLA, HP, NSFP, and the IC). After graduating he moved to New York as a Lasallian Volunteer. He worked as a teacher and Student Services Coordinator at the San Miguel Academy. Sadly Arthor passed away suddenly in 2014.
As a super leader, Arthor was loving, affectionate, good-hearted, and would go out of his way for anyone. He will truly be missed by the IC family. We honor his legacy through the Arthor Winn-Curley Book Scholarship that provides up to $250 to purchase textbooks for 8-10 students per year who have financial needs.
Your donation will allow the Intercultural Center to:
- Continue funding the Arthor Winn-Curley Book Scholarship
- Provide hope and support for students who are working tirelessly to create a better future for their entire families
- Ensure that students with financial need can purchase the textbooks they need to successfully complete their college educations
With your help the Arthor Winn-Curley Book Scholarship will continue for years to come, providing support for hundreds of real-life superheroes.
