Gifts to Student Life and Clubs contribute to...
Clubs and student activities are a great way for students to discover new passions and experience what it means to lead. There are over 30 clubs including: Speech and Debate, Robotics, Fishing, and more. It just goes to show that there is never a dull moment at SJND!
Access to resources such as, competition fees, debate workshops, seminars, tools and equipment programming robots, is crucial for providing students with opportunities to develop valuable skills, pursue their interests, and participate in enriching extracurricular activities.
Congratulations Gracia Hoffman '92!!!! She guessed right!
The vintage and treasured SJND varsity jacket I was privileged to sport belonged to the one, the only, the legendary Mr. Phil Gravem!
Mr. Gravem was one of the first lay teachers St. Joseph's hired in 1964. Mr. Aiello being the first. Some of his roles were: social studies department chair, the athletic director, Vice Principal and Dean of Students.
Today, you can always find Mr. Gravem at our school events and on his daily walks here in Alameda.
