Gifts to Club Clay Target contribute to...
Dear Alumni and Friends of the Trapshooting Club,
Scott Arvig here from the CSBSJU Clay Target Team. It's hard to believe another year has gone by since the last Go Johnnies Challenge. The Clay Target Club will once again be taking the field this fall and spring. In addition to trap, in 2025 we added skeet to the mix of disciplines, and the SJU skeet team from last spring made some great strides as the season went on and should be contenders in the conference this fall.
We are fortunate to have great support from the administration both financially and in general, but we can always use a little extra help. With the rising cost of ammo and clay targets, clay target shooting has become an expensive sport to compete in. That is why I am once again asking you to consider helping the team with a monetary contribution. Your help enables us to get the additional practice required to improve as a team competing in the USA College Clay Target League. As always, there are three points of focus for the Go Johnnies Challenge:
1. 100% of donations made on this day go directly to the program you choose.
2. Every gift, every size makes a different!
3. Your gift enhances our student athlete experience.
This year I again say thank you to those who supported this initiative in the past and hope to have your support again this year to make the 2025 Go Johnnies Challenge even better than last year! It’s easy for you to help us have a successful campaign once again.
- Simply donate by clicking here.
- Become and Advocate for the Clay Target Team. You can help to encourage others to donate by pushing the campaign out on your social media accounts or contact classmates and teammates to encourage them to donate. You can start this process through the link above.
- Consider making a matching gift to the campaign. These are used to encourage others to donate by matching their gift with an additional amount. You can set this up through the link above.
- Share the link on your social media pages and invite others to support the Clay Target Team.
I hope you will join us again for the 2025 Go Johnnies Challenge! Please feel free to contact me anytime to learn more about the team.
Sincerely,
Scott Arvig
