Throughout the 2025-2026 athletics season , our student-athletes pushed their limits, brought home individual conference titles, and represented Robert Morris with pride in competition and in the classroom.
2025–26 Championship & Academic Highlights Include:
- NEC Men's Lacrosse Champions: RMU Men’s Lacrosse claimed back-to-back Northeast Conference (NEC) Tournament Championships with a dramatic 8-7 buzzer-beater victory at Joe Walton Stadium to punch their ticket to the NCAA Tournament!
- Track & Field Individual Champions: Julia Dill captured two individual conference titles at the 2026 Horizon League Outdoor Championships, spearheading the Colonials to a historic 3rd-place finish—RMU's highest-ever point total since joining the league.
- Department-Wide Academic Success: Completing the 2025–26 athletic season, Colonial student-athletes achieved a stellar overall department GPA of 3.46 for the Spring 2026 semester.
- Academic Honor Roll Selection: 95 RMU student-athletes were named to the Fall Horizon League Academic Honor Roll, while 43 football players earned spots on the NEC Fall Academic Honor Roll for maintaining GPAs of 3.20 or higher.
- UPMC Events Center Record: Men's Basketball set a stadium attendance record of 4,058 roaring fans packing the arena, showcasing the unmatched passion of Colonial Nation.
