Last spring break, I had the incredible opportunity to travel to Masatepe, Nicaragua, with Shalom Project and partnering with One Collective - and it changed my life. I witnessed the Lord’s presence in such a tangible way: in the laughter of children, in the songs lifted up in praise, and in the simple, sacred moments of connection with friends and families who welcomed us into their homes.
This year, I GET TO GO BACK! The beautiful part is that God is already at work in Masatepe—we simply get to join Him in what He’s doing. Our team will partner again with local ministries to serve through home visits, work on local farms (yes, the pineapple farm again!), and support for churches and families. Each conversation, project, and prayer shared there reflects His love and His kingdom on earth.
My heart’s prayer is to serve humbly, listen deeply, and love intentionally. I know that God uses these moments not only to impact communities but also to shape our own hearts.
Before anything else, I would love your prayer support - that our team would have safety, strength, and a spirit of humility as we serve. Prayer is powerful, and it paves the way for everything we do.
