Claim Your Seat. Make Your Mark.
Celebrate 50 Years of Wildcat Hockey
For 50 years, Wildcat hockey has brought generations of Wildcats together. Since 1999, the Berry Events Center has been home to that tradition, creating a place where fans, families and alumni have made countless memories.
Now, you can become part of that history.
Claim your seat and make your mark on Wildcat hockey by adding your name—or honoring someone special—to a seat at the Berry Events Center. Your recognition can celebrate your connection to Northern Michigan University, honor a loved one, or commemorate a Wildcat who made a lasting impact.
For a $1,000 gift, you can add your name or tribute to an eligible seat while supporting the NMU men's hockey program and providing the resources needed to continue building the Wildcat hockey tradition for generations to come.
Whether you cheered from the stands as a student, brought your family to games, traveled with the team, or simply love wearing the green and gold, this is your opportunity to leave your mark on a place that holds so many Wildcat memories.
Open Through the 2026–27 Hockey Season
The opportunity to claim a seat will remain open throughout the 2026–27 Wildcat hockey season.
At the close of the season, the names and tributes submitted through the campaign will be placed on the designated seats at the Berry Events Center, creating a new visual reminder of the people who make Wildcat hockey special. The goal is to have the seat recognitions in place in time to welcome fans for the start of the 2027–28 hockey season.
Whether you're a longtime season ticket holder, proud alum, dedicated fan, or simply someone who believes in the tradition of Wildcat hockey, there's a place for you in this celebration.
Your Name. Their Memory. Our History.
Add your name. Honor someone you love. Remember a Wildcat who made a difference.
Your seat recognition is a tribute to your Wildcat connection—and a way to help write the next chapter of Northern Michigan University hockey.
Claim your seat and make your mark.
Please Note: Participation in the Claim Your Seat Campaign does not include the purchase of Northern Michigan University hockey season tickets. Season tickets are a separate purchase and transaction and must be purchased independently through NMU Ticket Office. Participation in the campaign does not guarantee or reserve hockey season tickets.
