Expanding NIU’s Academic Support Hub

In partnership with the Huskie Academic Success Center, the Division of Information Technology, and the Department of Mathematical Sciences; the Learning Commons has evolved into a comprehensive academic success center embedded in the Founders Memorial Library. In addition to the Math Assistance Center, Technology Support Desk, Research Help Desk, Writing Center, and Academic Coaching, the newly expanded Commons now integrates Tutoring and Supplemental Instruction — bringing together the full ecosystem of academic support under one roof. During Huskies United, your support will help enhance collaborative learning spaces, expand access to technology, upgrade furnishings, and ensure this high-traffic academic hub continues to meet the needs of NIU students.
