Enhancing Student Engagement Spaces

This year, gifts to the Dean’s Excellence Fund will help support a new college-wide priority focused on enhancing student engagement spaces. Through construction and renovation projects across the College, we are creating welcoming environments where students can gather, linger and collaborate, and build meaningful connections.

These thoughtfully designed spaces will feature flexible seating, soft-furniture environments, and open layouts that support informal learning, faculty and peer networking, and leadership development. By investing in areas outside the classroom, donors help students stay on campus longer, engage more deeply with their peers, and take greater ownership of their college experience. These spaces will serve as hubs for collaboration, innovation, and community, strengthening both student success and the overall vibrancy of the College.
