Living in French in North America is an experiential NYU course that brings students into direct contact with French-speaking communities in the United States and Canada. Through fieldwork, conversations with community members, cultural events, and reflective projects, students explore the diversity of Francophone identity in North America while developing their language skills in meaningful, real-world contexts.
This campaign supports student participation in the course’s immersive travel component. Donations will help offset transportation, lodging, and program costs for students who have expressed financial need, ensuring that access to this transformative experience is not limited by financial barriers.
By supporting this campaign, you are helping students engage deeply with language, culture, and community — and making experiential learning possible for all.
