Meet Jessamine!

Jessamine Irwin is a Clinical Associate Professor of French at New York University and co-director of The Intersection / Le Carrefour, an award-winning short documentary exploring Franco-American and immigrant experiences in Lewiston, Maine. She teaches courses on French language, culture, and experiential learning, including Living in French in North America, which brings students into direct contact with French-speaking communities in the United States and Canada. Her teaching and creative work focus on language, identity, community engagement, and access to immersive learning opportunities.
