Your support for the Discovery Scholars Program enriches undergraduate education through research opportunities!
The Discovery Scholars Program affords undergraduate students the chance to engage in research through personalized projects. Each Discovery Scholar is paired with a faculty mentor, and they may be eligible to receive mini seed grants of up to $2,000 to support their research endeavors. Students learn to write research proposals, including detailed budgets. Moreover, students collaborate with their faculty mentors to establish project milestones, teaching them how to manage the structure and accountability of their research experience. As an additional benefit, students participating in the program can take their Graduate Record Examination (GRE) as part of their academic journey.
