The energy was electric as our incredible community rallied for The 1784-Minute Challenge! We're thrilled to share that we not only met but exceeded our goal of 625 gifts and $325,000 raised for the Moses Brown Fund! We're still tallying the final count and can't wait to announce the final results soon.
The outpouring of generosity from every corner of our community—parents, guardians, alumni, students, grandparents, faculty, staff, and MB friends—coming together to make a difference has been inspiring. Thank you for everything you did to celebrate MB and support our beloved school!
The 1784-Minute Challenge | September 25 & 26, 2025
The 1784-Minute Challenge is our annual giving event dedicated to raising vital resources for the Moses Brown Fund. It’s a special day (and a half!) — 1784 minutes to be exact — when our entire community comes together to support Moses Brown School’s mission. Your participation — with a gift of any size — ensures we can continue to provide our students with the best educational experience possible.
Starting at 6 a.m. on September 25 and continuing until 11:44 a.m. on September 26, the Challenge invites the entire MB community to unite in celebrating Moses Brown School and showing our lasting commitment to educational excellence by contributing to the Moses Brown Fund.
What is the Moses Brown Fund? The Moses Brown Fund is more than just our annual fund—it's a vital partnership that empowers every student. Annually, over 1,000 donors contribute, driving innovation, teaching excellence, and enriching the student experience.
Make a birthday gift? Did you know that September 23 marks the 287th birthday of MB's founder, Moses Brown? During this year's 1784-Minute Challenge, we invite you to celebrate the incredible institution that Moses Brown worked so hard to establish by making your gift in his honor.

MB Community Challenge (every gift counts in this challenge)
When we reach 625 gifts as a community, a bonus gift of $25,000 to the Moses Brown Fund will be unlocked.
Moses Brown Birthday Match (applies to the first 287 gifts made to the Challenge)
Be one of the first 287 donors, and $287 will be added to your gift.
NEW | 2:1 Match! (applies to all gifts)
Gifts are being matched 2:1 until the match pool of $50,000 is reached.
Make your gift go further!
MB Families Match (applies to all gifts made by current and past parents/guardians)
Starting at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 25, all current and past parents' and guardians' gifts will be matched dollar-for-dollar until the match pool of $15,000 is reached.
MB Alumni Challenge (applies to all gifts from Alumni)
When 75 alumni make a gift, a bonus gift of $20,000 to the Moses Brown Fund will be unlocked.
MB Young Alumni Challenge (applies to Alumni from the classes 2015-2025)
Be one of the first 25 young alumni to make a gift and $100 will be added to your donation.
NEW | MB Alumni Challenge EXTENDED (applies to all gifts from Alumni)
When 40 additional alumni make a gift, a bonus gift of $5,000 to the Moses Brown Fund will be unlocked.
