With your help, the Missouri State Choirs will have the necessary funding for important opportunities both this year and for years to come!
During the 2017-2018 year, the Men’s Chorus is performing at the Missouri Music Educators Association Annual Conference, the Women’s Chorus is performing at a special holiday event at Silver Dollar City, and the Chorale is performing in Baton Rouge for the National Collegiate Choral Organization National Conference, and in Oklahoma City for the American Choral Directors Association. The Chorale will be touring to Iceland, Norway, and Sweden, and China. We even had the Grand Chorus sing with the Pride Band this fall at a Bears’ Home Football Game!
With your help, this campaign will make a lasting impact on the lives of our choral music students.
Right now, we’re in the process of building the MSU Choral Endowment. We plan to raise 1 million dollars in the next few years. Our goal this year is to raise at least another $50,000 this year, which would match the amount raised last year!
Your gift and support allows MSU to have a stronger presence in the world, funding opportunities for students to experience other cultures, making us more empathetic to others across the world - and to truly become better citizens.
With your support, our students can continue to take advantage of these unique opportunities provided to them through the hard work they put in!
The incredible thing about this endowment is that it will last forever. It’s like a long-term savings account, where each year, we only spend the interest! Not only does your gift support current students, it supports students for years to come!
Thank you for your support of the MSU Choral Studies program.

With Thanksgiving upon us, I know that our collective focus is on family, gratitude, and a brief break from our busy schedules.
We are certainly thankful for you and the support that you've given to the Missouri State choral students! You are making a difference in these students' live and many others.
#GivingTuesday is coming up soon! #GivingTuesday is a global giving movement held the Tuesday after Thanksgiving each year. We're thrilled to be a part of this again, alongside the MSU Foundation - a registered partner.
Thanks to the generosity of Dan and Melissa Scott, we currently have a matching gift (dollar for dollar) in place for the next $1,400 raised! Our goal is to raise this amount on or before (even better) #GivingTuesday!
How can you help? Feel free to share this campaign video to someone you know who would be interested. You could also make another donation of any size to the Choral Endowment Campaign and encourage others to do so as well before next Tuesday! Every bit of support is making a difference!
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!
Sincerely,
