MDC Sharks compete with pride — and they win. Based at Kendall Campus, MDC athletics fields teams in baseball, softball, men's and women's basketball, volleyball, and soccer, competing in the NJCAA Southern Conference. Over the years, Sharks teams have brought home 35 national championships, with baseball among the program's most decorated, regularly punching a ticket to the JUCO World Series.

This past April, Live Arts Miami brought Canadian circus troupe Cirque Kikasse to Miami Dade College, with performances at the Hialeah, Kendall, and Wolfson campuses.
Students gathered outdoors for SANTÉ!, a playful mix of acrobatics, physical comedy, and high-energy circus - bringing live performance directly into the places where students spend their everyday lives. Experiences like these turn a walk across campus into an unexpected encounter with the arts. Your support helps us bring more artists and live performances directly to MDC students.

What happens when students are invited to turn their ideas into a song? Through Live Arts Miami’s Arts for Change Songwriting Workshops, students work alongside professional songwriters to write collectively - sharing ideas, shaping lyrics, and building verses and a chorus together.
No musical experience required, just something to say.
