Inviting the Next Generation Into the Arts
For more than 35 years, Live Arts Miami has connected students with artists and creative experiences across Miami-Dade County. Each season, our Arts Education Initiatives reach more than 5,000 K-12 and college students - from all eight Miami Dade College campuses to classrooms and field trips for Miami-Dade public school students.
Through interactive performances, artist-led workshops, classroom engagements, and teacher training, students encounter local and international artists while moving, singing, playing, experimenting, asking questions, and experiencing the arts firsthand.
Your gift helps us bring more of these opportunities to students across Miami-Dade.
This past April, Live Arts Miami brought Canadian circus troupe Cirque Kikasse to Miami Dade College, with performances at the Hialeah, Kendall, and Wolfson campuses.
Students gathered outdoors for SANTÉ!, a playful mix of acrobatics, physical comedy, and high-energy circus - bringing live performance directly into the places where students spend their everyday lives. Experiences like these turn a walk across campus into an unexpected encounter with the arts. Your support helps us bring more artists and live performances directly to MDC students.

What happens when students are invited to turn their ideas into a song? Through Live Arts Miami’s Arts for Change Songwriting Workshops, students work alongside professional songwriters to write collectively - sharing ideas, shaping lyrics, and building verses and a chorus together.
No musical experience required, just something to say.
