Gifts to PREP Program contribute to...
Funds raised through Giving Day will directly support PREP clinical classes for individuals with Parkinsonโs, physical challenges, and intellectual challenges. PREP programming is designed to enhance overall wellbeing through purposeful exercise and movement, meaningful social interaction, and education. Giving Day support helps sustain these programs through the purchase of specialized equipment, outreach and advertising, instructor fees, and financial assistance for participants who are unable to cover the cost of classes. Our goal is simple and firm: anyone who would benefit from PREP clinical classes should be able to participate.
In addition, these programs serve as an important learning environment for Messiah students. Last year, more than 170 graduate and undergraduate applied health science students, including OT, PT, and AT students, observed and participated in PREP clinical classes, gaining meaningful hands-on experience that deepens their learning and prepares them for professional practice.
