Department of Communication

We would like to provide Department of Communication students from all of our five majors with financial assistance for a multitude of professional development opportunities. These opportunities fall into several categories: funding field trips and site visits to professional film or broadcasting production studios as well as communication or public relations organizations that are further away than the Central PA region; funding for student applications, registration and travel costs for academic conferences such as ECA and NCUR, domestic and international film festivals, and awards programs such as the Emmys/Keystones/Pinnacles/other college media awards; and funding for special student projects such as senior films, senior research, and more.
