Gifts to Mercer Athletics contribute to...

There is no better time to get involved and help make a difference in building the future of Mercer Athletics! Your gift MATTERS and will have an immediate impact on our current projects and initiatives. This Week of Giving you have the opportunity to either make a gift to our general athletics fund, or make a FOREVER gift to one of our endowments, designed to enhance the department for generations of current and future bears! Listed below is an in-depth description of the different ways to support.
Thank you for allowing us to offer the top experience in the Southern Conference and Go Bears!
Mercer Athletic Foundation: Established in 2008, The Mercer Athletic Foundation is the fundraising arm of the Mercer Athletic Department. The athletic foundations mission is to raise funds to help increase athletic scholarships, upgrade facilities, and recruit and retain top level coaches.
Mercer Women’s Athletic Endowment: The endowment was established by Diane Owens (CLA '77, LAW '80), who is a former Mercer women's basketball student-athlete, Life Member of the President's Club, former chair and member of the Board of Trustees and a member of the MAF. This fund supports Mercer’s 10 women’s varsity athletics programs by enhancing the quality of training and competition for female student-athletes, as well as enhancing professional development opportunities for female coaches.
Vaughn Champions Fund: Jesse L. Vaughn (CLA ’95, LAW ’98) and Jeffrey E. Clements (LAW ’99) endowed this fund to support student-athletes and coaches with championship or leadership activities. Expenditures from the fund shall include covering student travel and lodging for championship games or tournaments, purchasing championship rings, or providing leadership training for student-athletes or staff.
