Gifts to Connecting the Dots: Undergraduate Research contribute to...
Support Undergraduate Research
For decades, Marietta College students have partnered with their peers and faculty mentors to pursue valuable undergraduate research opportunities on campus. Today, those research experiences continue to spark curiosity, ignite innovation, and prepare our Pioneers for graduate school and the world of work.
Your gift to support undergraduate research on our annual Day of Giving will help bolster undergraduate research opportunities and empower the next generation of scholars.
Joel Neville ’24, a biochemistry major and biology minor, shared, “Participating in undergraduate research in collaboration with my faculty mentor, Dr. Suzanne Parsons, helped me learn to be a better researcher and improved my presentation skills. While investigating a therapeutic treatment for human melanoma, I was encouraged to develop my problem-solving capabilities in a hands-on, supportive environment. My research project was a transformational part of my educational experience at Marietta College.”
You can help ensure students like Joel have the resources, facilities, and guidance they need to pursue groundbreaking discoveries and create lasting impact on their communities by investing in the future of undergraduate research at MC.
