Roadrunner Tuesday 2025

Roadrunner Tuesday is a special time of year when Roadrunners near and far come together to support MSU Denver students.

At MSU Denver, we know that students with access to basic needs like food and housing are far more likely to graduate. In 2025, 75% of students who utilized Rowdy’s Corner returned the following semester, compared to 63% of those who did not. Your support helps ensure every Roadrunner has the resources they need to stay on track.

And thanks to our lead sponsor, Ent Credit Union, and other generous donors, more than $20,000 in matching funds are available this year—doubling the impact of your gift!

On Tuesday, Dec. 2, you can make a difference by giving to one of these vital student success funds:

• Rowdy's Corner (Student Food Pantry): No student should have to worry about where their next meal will come from. This fall, Rowdy’s Corner student food pantry has provided vital support to a record 1,700 students every month and facilitated more than 7,300 transactions monthly. That's more than a 50% increase compared to fall of 2024. Your gift provides food security and peace of mind to Roadrunners in need.

• The Student Emergency Fund: A sudden crisis shouldn’t derail a student’s education. This fund provides one-time emergency assistance for urgent needs such as medical care, housing, transportation, or family emergencies. Last year, MSU Denver awarded more than $85,000 to help students overcome financial hardship and stay enrolled.

• The DREAMer Emergency Fund: This fund offers emergency stipends to MSU Denver students with undocumented, DACA, or TPS status. In the past year, more than $20,000 was awarded to DREAMers in need of help with housing, medical costs, and other essential expenses.
