The One Roar program for Men’s Basketball within the Lions Booster Club (LBC), recognizes and celebrates those who support Lindenwood's men’s basketball team through charitable contributions. In addition to receiving LBC benefits, those who support men’s basketball will become part of the inner circle of the men’s basketball program as a member of the One Roar program. This club will assist in building a program that can compete at the highest level, not only in the OVC, but nationally, through the financial investment of alums and supporters. Contributions made to men’s basketball through the LBC and One Roar program go directly to impacting the men’s basketball program. The funds will be used to directly impact team travel expenses for “destination” games/events during the season as well as summer tours allowed by the NCAA once every four years. Both are areas of improvement that will advance our program.
It is the mission of intercollegiate sports at Lindenwood University to advance learning, enliven campus life, develop leadership skills, and foster the personal growth of the student athlete through offering a high-quality athletics program. Athletic department personnel strive to provide model programs that develop meaningful standards of scholarship, athletic performance, leadership, community service, and sportsmanship. Through sports Lindenwood seeks to contribute to a sense of collegiate identity and positive perception in the community. The Athletics Department shall strive for excellence in the competitive environment in accord with the philosophy, rules, and regulations of the NCAA and other sports governing bodies in which Lindenwood has membership.
