NCAA Athletics

The Lindenwood University Athletics Department has shown exponential growth over the past four years since becoming a member of the NCAA Division I Ohio Valley Conference (OVC). Lindenwood is in its first year of post-season eligibility, andy offers 15 of the 18 OVC sponsored sports while also being an affiliated member of The Atlantic Sun (ASUN) for women’s lacrosse, The Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) for women’s ice hockey and the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (MIVA) for men’s volleyball.

There has been great success in the Athletic Department over the last three seasons including Men's Soccer competing in the NCAA tournament in the Fall of 2025 and two OVC Conference Tournament Championships in the Fall of 2024 by Lindenwood women’s soccer and women’s volleyball. Improvements have been made to help support our student-athletes including new turf installed at Hunter Stadium and Lou Brock Sports Complex. Lindenwood has also partnered with NEVCO to put state-of-the-art video boards and signage inside Hyland Arena.

It is the mission of intercollegiate sports at Lindenwood University to advance learning, enliven campus life, develop leadership skills, and foster the personal growth of the student athlete through offering a high-quality athletics program. Athletic department personnel strive to provide model programs that develop meaningful standards of scholarship, athletic performance, leadership, community service, and sportsmanship.
