The Faculty Research Seed Funding provides continued support for faculty-led research initiatives. The funding is designed to advance the College’s research mission by enabling early-stage, pilot, and exploratory projects that foster innovation and strengthen connections across departments, throughout the University, and within the broader community. These early-stage investments contribute directly to the growth and reputation of the College and University by increasing research competitiveness, expanding interdisciplinary collaboration, and supporting long-term sustainability. This program serves as a catalyst for future external funding, enhanced student research experiences, and sustained growth in the College’s research portfolio.
Students are integrally involved in these funded projects, gaining hands-on research experience, mentorship, and career-shaping training that prepares them for graduate study, professional pathways, and leadership roles.
Investing in the future of junior faculty starts with you—your philanthropic support provides the critical seed funding that transforms promising ideas into impactful research, launches academic careers, and creates lasting change for our students, our institution, and the communities we serve.
What is the impact?
