Panhellenic Council

We are proud to say that there are 897 undergraduate students who have found community in the Panhellenic Council at Lehigh. While chapters give many students the opportunity for leadership, community, and growth, students also face a financial responsibility to be involved in these groups.

It is very important to our community to acknowledge that expecting all students to be able to handle this financial responsibility is fairly unreasonable. We take pride in being able to provide aid in these circumstances, giving them chances to apply for scholarships to help ease the financial burden that comes with being involved in Greek Life.

The Lehigh University Panhellenic Council, made up of 11 Executive Board members, the president and a delegate member from each chapter, overseeing our 8 Panhellenic sororities - Alpha Gamma Delta, Alpha Omicron Pi, Alpha Phi, Gamma Phi Beta, Kappa Alpha Theta, Kappa Delta, Pi Beta Phi, and Zeta Tau Alpha.

Currently, our Panhellenic Council contributes to the 22% of affiliated students on Lehigh’s campus. A goal the National Panhellenic Conference is striving to achieve across college campuses is growth. The Panhellenic Council aims to achieve this, but is aware of the financial barriers joining Greek life perpetuates.

In recent years, the Panhellenic Council has begun providing scholarships to members who are in financial need. However, with the growing costs of our world, the sole income of Panhellenic Dues is not a sustainable way to ensure funding for these scholarships. Your Lehigh Giving Day gift to the Panhellenic Council will solely be used towards current and new member scholarships to provide a more accessible experience for students who wish to gain a sense of belonging, leadership, and service through joining our growing Panhellenic community.
