The Baker Institute is Lehigh University's hub for entrepreneurship, creativity, and innovation for students from all backgrounds, identities & disciplines. With over a decade of experience, we ignite students’ passions for entrepreneurship, creativity, and innovation by facilitating one-of-a-kind experiences that immerse students in San Francisco’s startup ecosystem with programs like LehighSiliconValley; help them to transform their nesting ideas into real-world products or services by offering our Hatchery: Student Ideas Accelerator program, and so much more!

Through Lehigh Ventures Lab, Baker supports a platform for venture creation through the launch and growth phases of startups founded by students, faculty and young alumni. Students who participate in our “Shark Tank”-like EUREKA! pitch nights receive individualized coaching and have multiple opportunities to be awarded funding that helps them maximize their potential for success as they prepare their business for continued growth, scaling, and expansion.

Because we welcome ALL students into our programs "needs blind," we are dedicated to making resources available so no student ever has to walk away from an opportunity because of financial need.
