About

The Riordan Roett Financial Aid Fellowship was established in 2017 to honor the 45-year legacy of Johns Hopkins SAIS Latin American Studies Director Dr. Riordan Roett on the occasion of his 2018 retirement from SAIS.

Our goal is to raise 100% of our $50,000 goal by June 30^th to support these financial aid fellowships which will be awarded to recruit excellent Latin American Studies students and train future generations of Latin Americanists.

The Hildreth Challenge is ongoing! Bob Hildreth, from class of 1975, will match dollar-for-dollar every gift up to the first $50,000 received!
