Gifts to Biomedical Engineering Society at Johns Hopkins University contribute to...

The Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) at Johns Hopkins University is a student chapter of the national BMES organization that serves the biomedical engineering student body at Hopkins by running social and career development events and initiatives to strengthen the BME community both inside and outside of Hopkins.
BMES’ outreach committee is partnering with Baltimore Polytechnic Institute and the Ingenuity Project to work with local high school students for the first continuous partnership with the local community since before the COVID-19 pandemic. BMES’ outreach committee members have worked the entire fall semester to develop a curriculum that we can teach on a weekly basis.
Your contribution for this crucial partnership would support transportation costs between the Baltimore Polytechnic and Johns Hopkins campuses, equipment and resources (e.g., Arduino kits) for student projects, and a possible end-of-semester symposium for high school students to showcase their work.
Here's how you can help:
- A $25 gift will help cover transportation costs for our volunteers.
- A $50 gift will help cover materials for hands-on biomedical engineering experiments.
- A $250 gift will help towards providing students with Arduino kits for hands-on educational activities.
Make your gift to support the Biomedical Engineering Society today!
