In 2020, Johns Hopkins University Wrestling Captain Bradlee LaMontagne passed away in a tragic boating accident. Bradlee chose to attend Hopkins because he wanted to make a difference in the world. Bradlee grew from a confident, hard-working freshman wrestler to a leader on the campus. Bradlee attacked everything he did with a passion that was contagious to the people around him. He was a strong leader on the team and was loved and admired by all of his teammates. Bradlee never gave up on himself, and he always believed that he would find a way to excel. He lived his life with a passion and fire that we were able to witness every time he stepped on the mat. He has certainly made an IMPACT on Hopkins Wrestling.
Our goal is to honor Bradlee and his legacy through funding an endowment to support our most pressing annual programmatic needs, and to name the wrestling room the Bradlee Hillier LaMontagne Wrestling Room. If you would like to join in our efforts to honor Bradlee, please consider making a gift towards the endowment.
