The word rishi means ‘one blessed with divine wisdom’ in Sanskrit. Rishi Shet was a delightful, fun-loving, talented kid, who liked nothing better than to make people happy. And behind this child-like radiance was wisdom and kindness that belied his seventeen years of age.
In June 2021, Rishi passed away, but his spirit lives on in our hearts, in the joys that he spun for those around him, and in the happiness that his vision will continue to bring to those in need.
Rishi’s family and friends launched the Rishi Children’s Fund to support orphan and vulnerable children to lead healthy enriched lives and to positively impact their communities. Details on these initiatives can be found here.
Through your generosity, the Rishi Children’s Fund has become an Endowment at Johns Hopkins University, and will honor Rishi’s memory in perpetuity.
Please consider making a donation to the Rishi Children's Fund today.
Your gift to the Rishi Children’s Fund will support vulnerable children, just as Rishi would have wanted.
