About

Mini-MedHacks is an outreach initiative by MedHacks, an on-campus student organization for medical hackathon. Baltimore City high school students part of MERIT, a pre-health academy, will participate in a one-day simulation of what a hackathon looks like, and learn more about technology in medicine. The day is filled with activities, such as panel sessions with notable speakers, workshops in arduino and design, collaborative project design, presentation to judges, and feedback.

  • A $15 gift helps our group sponsor a student organization to host a workshop at the event.
  • A $30 gift helps our group provide various snacks and drinks to the students.
  • A $50 gift helps our group buy sponsor a field-relevant speaker to share their insight with us.
  • A $100 gift helps our group provide students with a full Arduino starter kit, allowing them to continue their STEM experience.
