The Johns Hopkins School of Nursing will welcome approximately 300 MSN (Entry into Nursing) Students during the 2026-2027 academic year. At the beginning of the program, each student participates in a ceremony in which they will receive their white coat, and recite the School of Nursing Pledge as a symbol of their entry into the nursing field.
You can be part of this important moment.
Join us in supporting our students and preparing the best and brightest for a world that needs nurses now more than ever before.
Become a White Coat Sponsor today in honor of Nurses Week!
Each coat costs $35, but is a priceless symbol of the nursing profession and the commitment to care for the lives of others.

As they recite the nursing pledge and put on their coat for the very first time, they’re stepping into a profession built on compassion and leadership. Because when our nurses lead, health moves forward.
Sponsor 1 or more coats by making a gift of any size to the School of Nursing. By sponsoring white coats today, you can honor nurses everywhere by making a tangible impact in the lives of future Hopkins nurses.
Your support ensures that our future nurses can begin their Hopkins journey with this symbol of purpose and promise.
Make your gift today and make a lasting impact on a student nurse!
Donations given through this campaign will be deposited into the Johns Hopkins Nurses’ Alumni Association Gift Fund and will be used specifically for this project. Any donations received in excess will be used to support other JHNAA initiatives, including graduation pinning and reunion programming.
