The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) provides a rigorous educational experience, one that prepares students for further study and professionally and ethically practice engineering in a competitive global environment. ECE remains on the cutting edge in five major disciplines, including Control, Networks and Systems; Image and Signal Processing, Machine Learning and Date Science; Acoustics, Language and Speech Processing; Microsystems and Computer Engineering, and Solid State Electronics and Photonics.
Now more than ever, we need your support, AND THIS YEAR, WE CHALLENGE YOU! From now until May 5th, your gift will go even further—for every 10 donors that give to the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, we will unlock an additional $1,000.
Your support will fund the student design experience, faculty research, student travel funds and more.
Especially important to the department are:
- Summer research and housing stipends for undergraduates, enabling them to stay in Baltimore and partner with ECE faculty on innovative research and discoveries.
- Support for upgraded design lab equipment and supplies, so that ECE can expand our design experience and fuel students’ ability to create cutting-edge solutions to real-world problems.
