Gifts to Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering contribute to...
Innovating for Impact!
The Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering’s research and teaching are deeply interdisciplinary, and targeted at solving some of the world’s most challenging problems—from the development of new therapies, to conquering cancer, to the creation of earth-friendly biofuels and other sources of energy, to the design of molecular electronics, and more.
Our students not only to learn from faculty who are world-renowned leaders and innovators in their fields, but also work in tandem with them, creating knowledge and developing leadership skills through collaborative research.
THIS YEAR, WE CHALLENGE YOU! Your gift will go even further—every 10 gifts the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering receives will unlock an additional $1,000.
Your gift will ensure the excellence of our undergraduate and graduate education, advance research, and support student design initiatives that address complex real-world problems.
Last year, your support funded the development of a “history project,” enabling students to interview pioneers among ChemBE alumni and capture their experiences at Hopkins. This year, we plan to continue this project and help fund students engage in professional development activities.
Additionally, we would like to host a summer workshop for local high-schoolers and those from Baltimore HBCUs to teach coding and other marketable data science skills.
We hope you will join in our efforts. EVERY DOLLAR COUNTS! Make your gift to Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering today.
