Gaels Giving Day is Iona University’s annual day of giving, a 24-hour event for the entire Iona community to come together and make a gift of any size to the designation of their choice. Once again, Gael Nation is encouraged to rally around Iona's student-athletes to drive critical support for the advancement and sustainability of the Maroon & Gold.

The unwavering support of Gael Nation allows us to provide our student-athletes with the resources they need to excel both on the field and in the classroom. In addition to building champions in academics, athletics, in the community and in life, the core values that we instill upon our student-athletes, their coaches, and our staff are: integrity, collective responsibility, a commitment to excellence and a promise to always Fight the Good Fight.

Men's Basketball wrapped up the 2024-25 campaign as the runners-up of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. The Gaels, who were comprised of an entirely new roster with no returners from the previous year, grew with each passing game. After a challenging non-conference schedule that laid the building blocks for the year, Iona would finish fourth in the MAAC regular season standings and earn a spot in the MAAC title game after upsetting top-seeded Quinnipiac in the semifinal round before falling short of an NCAA Championship berth. Your generosity helps support the program in a variety of different ways, including (but not limited to): travel accommodations, recruiting, equipment, apparel, training trips, educational speakers/team-building exercises and much more.
