Thanks to your incredible support, Fall Athletics Fundraising Week has seen great successes so far! While we've accomplished so much, the final hours are the most critical. We have until midnight tonight to make this the most successful campaign yet, and we need your help for one last, powerful push.

Latest shoutouts (see the Updates section of the campaign for previous campaign highlights): 

• Baseball hit their goal this morning, and they will be on their way to Kansas and Arizona this spring.
  • 2 generous alumni created a match and a challenge gift that helped them cross the finish line!  
• Over 625 people believe in Hamline athletics and supporting student-athletes. 
• 6 teams have hit their goals. 
  • 4 have reset their goals even higher!
    • 3 of those have hit their increased goals!
• 11 of 11 matching gifts have been met, making donor dollars go farther.
  • Thanks to a generous anonymous gymnastics alumna, $1,500 additional dollars were matched for Hamline gymnasts! This is on top of another match that doubled $7,500. 
• Thanks to a Swim and Dive Alumni Group, an additional $375 was unlocked.
• Thanks to Frank Novak, $1,000 additional dollars were matched for Hamline Lacrosse.

It’s day 4 of Fall Athletics Fundraising week, and the Hamline community is truly showing its Piper Pride. A huge thank you to Hamline Athletics supporters for all the generous support you’ve given so far.  

Due to your generosity: 

• Women’s Basketball met their original goal of $10,000 and increased their goal to $12,500.
• Men’s Basketball is at 93% of the way to reaching their increased goal of  $15,000 (increased from $12,000).
• Men’s Hockey met their original goal of $10,000 and increased their goal to $13,000.
• Gymnastics is over 80% to their goal and still has $1,380 in matching gift funds available.
• Women’s Hockey is over 100% of their goal. 
• Men’s and Women’s Swim and Dive increased their goal from $10,000 to $13,000 and are over 80% to their increased goal. 
• 7 matching and challenge gifts have been met, doubling thousands of gifts to support Hamline student-athletes! 

Current opportunities to increase your impact:

• Share your favorite Hamline team’s campaign page on your social media accounts and with your networks.
  • Hot Tip - Go to your favorite Hamline’s team's social media channels and share and like each of their Fall Athletics Fundraising Week posts. This boosts organic appearances in people's social media feeds via the platform's algorithms.
  • Pro Tip - Record a quick video of you mentioning why you supported your favorite team during Fall Athletics Fundraising Week to share with your social media followers.
• Please also share and consider an additional gift to the Piper Athletic Association (PAA) Fund, which supports ALL student-athletes at Hamline University. The focus for the PAA fund this year is to create a stronger visual identity in our athletic spaces. This not only fosters a greater sense of community and pride but also strengthens our recruitment efforts, helping us attract the next generation of Piper champions.
• Consider creating your own match. Matching gifts of any level inspire others to make an impact too.

Your gift is fueling Piper Power, and we are on our way to reaching our goal of $85,000 to support Hamline student-athletes! But there is still work to be done. 

Piper athletic teams are only able to have rewarding opportunities and experiences due to donor support. Due to your generosity we’re able to maintain quality, high-performing programs, recruit new student-athletes, fund critical training trips, enhance equipment and resources, and more. Thank you!! 

Opportunities to increase your impact:

• Share your favorite Hamline team’s campaign page on your social media accounts and with your networks.
• There are thousands of dollars left in matching gift funds! 
• Consider creating your own match. Matching gifts of any level inspires others to make an impact too. 
• Please consider an additional gift to the Piper Athletic Association (PAA) Fund, which supports ALL student-athletes at Hamline University.
  
  

Due to your generosity: 

• Men’s Basketball increased their goal from $12,000 to $15,000 and completed a matching gift, turning $3,000 into $6,000!
• Women’s Basketball completed a matching gift, turning $3,500 into $7,000 
• Swim and Dive completed a matching gift, turning $2,700 in $5,400
• Many teams are over 50% to their goal.
• We’re over 60% to our overall campaign goal!
