Your support of the Georgia Southwestern Athletics General Fund serves as a catalyst for GSW Hurricane student athletes as they compete for championships nationally within the NCAA Division II and within the Peach Belt Conference. Hurricane athletic teams compete in men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, softball, golf, men’s and women’s soccer, tennis, and men’s and women’s cross country. During the 2021-2022 academic year, the golf team finished in the top four nationally for the second consecutive year, baseball had the conference pitcher of the year and won more Peach Belt Conference games than ever before, and softball had the conference player of the year and won 30(+) games. GSW student athletes had their 16th straight semester with a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher, and Hurricane Athletics finished the year ranked 1st nationally for community service hours among ALL NCAA Division II colleges.
