GSW’s fourth annual Day of Giving is Thursday, September 22, 2022. This 24-hour fundraising campaign is an opportunity for Hurricanes around the world—alumni, community members, parents, friends, faculty, staff, and students—to join together and show support for Georgia Southwestern State University. This year’s focus is on scholarships, in particular the Southwestern Promise Scholarship, and we have raised the bar even higher by doubling our goal to $100,000! Additionally, we are challenging donors from each of the 50 states (and beyond) to light up their state and Turn the Map Gold!
A huge thank you to all of our alumni, donors, students, faculty, staff, community members, and participating restaurants who supported Georgia Southwestern yesterday! Your generous support, both in-person and online, was greatly appreciated for our fourth annual #GSWDayOfGiving. We’re still crunching the numbers but we’ve raised more than $89,000 from over 285 donors and 45 states, so stay tuned for a final total early next week! #TakeGivingByStorm
