Through daily access to caring staff, our after school Student Success Hour provides continuous support, offers early intervention, and empowers students to seek help — ensuring their success inside and outside the classroom.
Student Success Hour is a proactive approach to support students when they need it most. Teachers can assign a student success hour if a student fails to turn in an assignment. During the hour, students work on completing the assignment. This helps them earn points and keep up with the content.
- Nearly 80% of the students who are assigned a Student Success Hour attend.
- Roughly 15 students per day access Student Success Hour on their own.
- Overall 15 teachers in core subject areas are available to help students during the week.
- The learning specialist and academic coach are present daily to assist students
