Magis Scholar Program

This program helps freshmen meet the challenges of a college preparatory curriculum, fostering their skills in organization, time management, study habits and strategies, test-taking, self-advocacy, vocabulary development, reading comprehension and critical thinking.

This degree of individualized attention is “cura personalis,” or "care for the whole person,” at work, ensuring that all of our students are ready to meet the rigors and challenges of Prep. Thank you for supporting their success by making a gift to this program!

• 18% of our freshmen are Magis Scholars.
• Magis Scholars complete a week of pre-preparatory school readiness in the summer, setting them up for success.
• All Magis Scholars have access to an academic coach for one full class period in their schedule.
• Magis Scholars can also meet with our learning specialist, who can assist them in understanding how they learn best so they can apply those strengths to their coursework.
