We asked and you answered! Y'all came through in a big way, and I'm thrilled to report that we have exceeded the challenge goal of 91 donors to the Bryn Mawr Fund (BMF). That unlocks the $10,000 gift that Liz Chang so generously pledged. Click her video message talk about why BMC and our class is so special to her.
If you've donated to the BMF already, many thanks for your gift and for helping us meet the goal. If you haven't gotten around to it yet, I encourage you to jump on the bandwagon; I'd love to see us top the 100 mark! Gifts can be submitted until the end of the College's fiscal year, which is Sunday, 5/31/26. I want to be clear though that the reason we're doing this is not to meet some arbitrary numerical goal. It's to ensure that talented, whip-smart young women have access to a Bryn Mawr education without worrying about how they and their families are going to pay for it.
That's what this is all about. That's what YOU help make happen. You should be damn proud of yourselves; I know I am. I'm lifting my lantern high in honor of and gratitude for you, my awesome 1991 classmates!
Anassa kata,
Beth Strausser, Reunion Gift Chair

Thank you for your participation and we can continue to give till the end of College's fiscal date which is Sunday, 5/31/26.
Anassa kata, Class of ‘91!
It’s the end of April, and Reunion is coming up fast. Online registration will close on Monday, May 11. Reminder: if you are planning to stay in the dorms, on-campus housing cannot be added past May 11. Onsite registration will remain available during Reunion weekend for other packages and à la carte options.
Brooke and I are already planning our hospitality suite, and please send Brooke scans of vintage photos you would like to include for display. Brooke’s email address is 318brooke@gmail.com.
You should have heard from Beth Strausser, our wonderful Reunion Giving Chair, about a generous challenge that our classmate Liz Chang has made: if 91 members of our class give to the Bryn Mawr Fund, no matter the amount, she has pledged to give $10,000.

At our 25th Reunion, we won Professor Patruno’s Wine Challenge by being the class with the best participation in Reunion giving. We know we can do this again. Right now, we're over halfway to the goal. Let’s make it to 91 and meet Liz's challenge!
Consider a gift of $20 (1+9+9+1) for our class year or $35 for our Reunion year–any amount is meaningful. Your gift will support current students and the future of Bryn Mawr. There's a link on our Class of 1991 Reunion webpage you can use to donate. Again, your Reunion gift needs to be made to the Bryn Mawr Fund in order to count for our class challenge. We and the Mothership thank you for your generosity.
Please continue to check the Reunion website for information as you prepare for the weekend. In the weeks leading up to Reunion there will be more information about what to do when arriving; keep an eye on your email.
We can’t wait to see you on campus Friday, May 29.

69 days ago by Jenny LoAs we prepare for our 35th reunion, we've set an exciting goal of 91 donors from the Class of 1991 supporting the Bryn Mawr Fund.
To spur us on, our classmate Liz Chang has very generously offered a special challenge. If [when :) ] we reach 91 donors to the Bryn Mawr Fund by Reunion weekend, she will unlock a $10,000 gift to the College.
Are we up for the challenge?
I know we are!
Every single gift to the Bryn Mawr Fund, regardless of size, makes a difference. For example, you may want to give $35 in honor of our reunion anniversary or $20 (1+9+9+1) for our class year. Participation matters just as much as dollars raised.
We're currently a third of the way towards the goal. Let’s build on that momentum! Join our classmates and make your gift today.
Together, we can make a meaningful impact.

77 days ago by Jenny LoWe are happy to announce that you can now register for Reunion 2026, taking place Friday, May 29 – Sunday, May 31.
Reunion offers many ways to connect with classmates. We recommend that you review the Reunion website for information such as the weekend schedule, pricing, cancellation policies and accommodations before you begin the registration process.
An early bird registration discount is available through Tuesday, April 7. Please use the discount code Early Bird in the payment section of registration.
Sincerely, The Alumnae/i Relations and Development Team
Dear Alumnae/i,
|
Hello, Class of 1991!
It’s already March and Reunion Weekend is approaching quickly. Please mark your calendars for Friday, May 29 to Sunday, May 31, 2026. And if you’d like to keep the celebration going, join us for a BYOWhatever After Par-tea in Brooke’s Haverford backyard on Sunday starting at noon!
Registration will open in early April; watch your email for updates and register early. Pricing information is still being finalized, but a preliminary schedule, general information about available reunion packages, hotel blocks for off-campus housing, and the cancellation policy are now available on the college 2026 Reunion Weekend website. If you cannot come for the entire weekend, consider à la carte options and come for a day, an evening, or a special event.
Accommodation in the dorms is only available in advance of reunion on a first come, first served basis. Good news: the Mothership now has a Thursday on-campus housing option to support people traveling to reunion from afar. Please note, however, that space is limited, and registration will close in mid-April for Thursday night on-campus housing. Walk-in registration during Reunion Weekend will not include the option of on-campus housing. If you are interested in staying on campus, please register early! Staying in the dorms and talking until late in the hospitality suite is one of the best parts of reunion.
We are putting together a memory board for the hospitality suite; if you would like to include photos from our time at the Mothership, please scan them and send them to Brooke (318brooke@gmail.com). At the time that our beloved classmate Emily Baillargeon Russin passed away, we collected $293; at our class meeting, we will discuss how we would like the college to memorialize her. We challenge our class to donate to the college this reunion year in memory of Emily and to support current and future students in changing the world.
Did you know that each year, Reunion classes alone roughly contribute 25% of the dollars raised for The Bryn Mawr Fund? Making a gift is a way to honor your time at the Mothership and to raise your lantern to current and future Mawrters. Consider giving $35 in honor of our reunion, $20 for our class (1+9+9+1), or your best gift ever to Bryn Mawr. Make a class gift to the Bryn Mawr Fund or give to the Black Alumnae/i Fund, which supports the personal and professional development of students who share a cultural background or personally identify with the African Diaspora. Check on the status of 1991 Reunion Giving here. Anassa kata to Beth Strausser and the 1991 Reunion Gift Team!
Thank you also to Karen Leonard, our Class Notes Editor, who writes our class column in the Bulletin. Please send your news to her; we would love to know where you are and what you’re doing.
We are excited to connect with you and catch up. See you in May!
